Written by Henry Hart for solo piano and published in 1874. The Hart family was living in Evansville, Indiana, a town on the Ohio River, at the time this piece was created. The work is dedicated to Miss Fannie Kellum of nearby Vincennes, Indiana, who was likely the commissioner of the piece.
