There’s also music by Grimes from her 2015 album “The Clearing,” along with the world premiere of her two-piano work “And Today Was Her Birthday,” all recorded live at Merkin Hall as part of the 2016 Ecstatic Music Festival.

Excited to announce Rachel & piano trio Longleash will perform at Ecstatic Music Festival, Feb 10th, at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center in NYC. Longleash will perform the newly published Music for Egon Schiele suite, giving this beautiful music new life for a new ensemble on its 20th anniversary. Grimes will join the trio for arrangements of pieces from her 2015 album “The Clearing” (Temporary Residence) and the world premiere of her two-piano work “And Today Was Her Birthday.” – More info and tickets can be found here
