“The Way Forth” is a folk opera tracing generations of Kentucky history through women’s voices. The work was premiered on February 23rd, 2019 with Teddy Abrams and the Louisville Orchestra. Commercial recording of the chamber version of this work was released in 2019 by Temporary Residence Ltd. Film created to accompany this concert opera performance can be provided for use by contacting the composer.

2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets/bass clarinet, 2 bassoons, 2 horns, trumpet, trombone, 2 percussion (timpani,suspended cymbal, bass drum, vintage cocktail kit, washboard, cabasa, guiro, wooden shaker, ankle bells), harp, piano, strings, SATB chorus + soloists (minimum 20 singers), narrator
